The real Pöttyös Zsiguli Story

One of the most amazing dream objects in the Pöttyös Raktár is a a wildly tuned, original Lada 1200 automobile. The Pöttyös Team wanted to put something extra-special under the virtual hammer, not just a simple car, so the concept was placed in the hands of professionals who were asked to select, design and test a real 1980s heartbreaker.

Naturally, we found the most renowned – and infamous – car journalists in the country, Winkler and Karotta, whom you may already know from the program TotalCar. They in turn chose the East Block team, the “virtuosi” of extreme car transformation, to perform a make-over on the sixty-horse wild Lada. (Not to worry, it wasn’t turned into a submarine!)
