MASCOT DRAWING COMPETITION

More than 300 potential mascot figures were submitted to us. No wonder the nine-member jury spent three hours considering which of the candidates to choose...

The Pöttyös Team invited world-famous cartoon director Marcell Jankovics to chair the professional jury. An Oscar nominee whose film entitled ‘Fehérlófia’ received the award for best cartoon of all time, Mr. Jankovics assited the jury with his broad experience and unique perspective.

Figures were judged on the basis of ten criteria. It wasn’t an easy decision since you sent in so many remarkable pieces. :)

FINALISTS

The following candidates qualified for the Final:

PRIZE-WINNERS

Based on the final decision of the jury,

1st place:
No. "0007", awarded a prize of 200,000 HUF.

2nd place:
No. "0009", awarded 100,000 HUF.

3rd place:
No. "0240", awarded 50,000 HUF.

PUBLIC VOTE

Registered users of pottyos.hu had the chance to vote for the drawings. Altogether 6,992 votes were recorded. Based on these, the final results of the public vote were the following:

1st place:
No. "0139".

2nd place:
No. "0019".

3rd place:
No. "0267".

Winners each received a Pöttyös Túró Rudi pen. The gifts were sent by post.

WHAT WAS ALL THIS ABOUT?

For this competition, we expected images that convey the meaning of the Pöttyös brand name, memorable figures that immediately catch the attention of the viewer, inspiring happiness and a more positive outlook on the world, figures that are long-lasting and timeless, like Pöttyös Túró Rudi itself. All nominated drawings were exhibited in Sugár Shopping Center between July 17 and 30 2006.
