PÖTTYÖS CHILDREN’S DAY PROGRAM - 2006

The Pöttyös Children’s Day Program has ended. Thank you for sending Pöttyös Túró Rudi wrappers and registering on the internet.

The Pöttyös Children’s Day Program is a charity event that was made larger and more spectacular by web-site visitors and Pöttyös Túró Rudi consumers. The promotion started on 9 April, 2006 and ended on 19 May, 2006. During this time, nearly three thousand people registered on www.pottyos.hu and more than six thousand Pöttyös Túró Rudi wrappers were sent to Pöttyös.

• Those who registered on our website each provided the children’s department of a hospital with 1 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudi (Giant) bar.
• Those who sent wrappers for any tape of 30 gram Pöttyös Túró Rudi provided a children’s ward with 2 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudi (Giant) bars each.
• Those who sent 1 Dupla Pöttyös Túró Rudi (Double) wrapper provided 4 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudi (Giant) bars each.
• Those who sent 1 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudi (Giant) wrapper each contributed 4 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudi (Giant) bars.

COOPERATION FOR CHILDREN

Among those who sent us wrappers were people who had been collecting hundreds of them for years, and there were people who offered collections they had originally gathered for the Sziget Festival. Families and communities cooperated to get as many Túró Rudi wrappers as possible to children in hospital.

The registrations and sent in wrappers allowed the Pöttyös Team to keep its promise and send more than 20,000 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudis (Giant) to hospitalised children in Budapest and rural areas around the country.

In addition to the website registrations and sent-in wrappers, another 10,000 Óriás Pöttyös Túró Rudis (Giant) were also distributed at the Children’s Day event in front of the Palace of Arts.

The Pöttyös Team would like to thank you for all contributions. It’s worth continuing to collect Pöttyös Túró Rudi wrappers since the Pöttyös Children’s Day program will take place next year as well, and this time we hope to make it even bigger.
